Rudhramadevi was released in around 1200 screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.Rudhramadevi had made tax free in Telangana as it was a story of Warangal's history which was situated in Telangana.The first screening of the Rudhramadevi has started at 1:30PM in Sri Ramulu theater Mossapet  where Gunasekhar and his team came to watch the movie.

As per the reports Rudhramadevi has collected Rs.5.35 Crores in Andhra Pradesh and Rs.6.53Crores in Telangana on it's 1st day release and stand's on 9th place as highest grossed movie in the year 2015 where Bahubali and Srimanthudu has occupied 1&2 Positions.Finally Rudramadevi has managed to get Rs.11.90Crores in AP and telangana and Rs.4.20 Cr in rest of India and worldwide.
